First Contact

The ambassador looks upon Diaveras with suspicious excitement. "an event of what sort of nature...."

The Cerenca sensed the ambassador's excitement. His eyes closed and he looked down slightly. "Combat" The Cerenca opened his eyes and led the Mimorvadon down a hallway. The two soon find themselves in a long room with windows along one wall that showed two aceda in the next room. One was an adult that appeared to be an Ud Gevas, the other a child. "I had forgotten the date, today we are performing an examination for the child that will become the next Indrigandan. She is young so she has been put against one of our Ud Gevas, the rank of Aceda just below Indrisenten. Normally it is against a Gevas, the next rank down, but this child has developed a unique ability that has put her above most of the Indrisgandan children that have come before her." Within the other room the child can be seen disappearing in what look flashes of blue light that outline where her body was for a split second and reappearing in different parts of the room. "It can best be described as teleporting, it seems to have branched off of our ability to open portals and has been proven to be much easier to perform for her and can be used in succession making it a far more advantageous ability than the one it has branched from."

An obvious surge of excitement pulsed though the Mimorvadon as he watch the young Aceda perform. "That is......that is amazing! we have no such technology as this and yet, this is your own natural ability! so she is the only one that may teleport? can she teleport others? and what is an "Indrisenten". Apologies, they left me with little information when they sent me here, all besides the basics of what we knew of your species. can these abilities be replicated with technology?"

"As far as we have seen she is only able to teleport herself. The Indrisenten are twelve Aceda that serve as part of the government. They are raised until they are out of the infancy stage under a regular set of parents after that I adopt them all and raise them until they are young adults, ready to live in the world and govern it. There are seven continents on this world, one is inaccessible. Two Indrisenten and myself govern over this continent the remainder of the continents are governed by two Indrisenten. Among the Indrisenten is an especially powerful one called the Indrigandan. That is what she is in there, the next Indrigadan. I am sure our abilities can be replicated I am just not sure how difficult it might be without losing control."
Within the room the girl was unleashing barrages of rays at the Ud Gevas. The Ud Gevas, while sliding along the walls, blocks against the rays he cannot dodge. The child appears in his path and he emits a massive pulse to push her back. The child resists and closes in for an attack, the Ud Gevas emits a pulse against the wall and launches off it, he uses the same manipulation to keep his feet from touching the ground causing him to appear to slide across it as he fires a highly charged ray at the child. The child warps again and appears in front of him as he reaches the wall on the other side, the two have blades readied and strike at the same time, causing a clash as plasma collides with plasma. Then energy this releases sends a shock wave through the room.
Diaveras examines closely the ease at which the child is moving. "Increase the gravity by seven times in that room." An Aceda could be seen with a holographic screen in front of itself and on screen a small black spiral turning counter clockwise from the center is seen. The Aceda places their finger in front of the center of the spiral and the center was immediately filled with a light green, the Aceda ran their finger along the spiral and the spiral could be seen filling with green for half a circle. Inside the clashing Aceda dropped, the child hit the ground, the Ud Gevas's feet now touched the floor. The Ud Geves showed little signs of being affected while the child was struggling to get to her feet again. The Ud Gevas reaches his hand out to her but she hits it away with her own. "What's with her attitude?" Diaveras turned to the other Aceda with concern in his voice. "Has something happened to her? Has she been upset?"
"She won't talk to us, sir. She was acting a bit strange outside, trying to rush us to start the exam."
"One of the other children must have said something to her. I'm going to talk to her after the exam, for now it may be best to continue."
Inside the child manages to get to her feet and glares at the Ud Gevas in front of her. "Child you are not to inhibit the raised gravity, this is meant to make you stronger so that you do not waste the concentration."
"That's not something you do in an exam, you're supposed to see if I already have gotten strong enough to do that. If I don't get a good review then I can't move on."
"What has you so upset?"
Ignoring the question the child assembles two blades to strike with. The Ud Gevas could see how unstable the blades were and grabbed one bare handed and unharmed while blocking the other.
"You can't divide your attention between these two blades while you are also counteracting the raised gravity you need to get rid of one."
"It'll be fine!" She pushes against the Ud Gevas and jumps back, hitting the ground hard enough to stagger her, one blade vanishes as she falls to a knee and places her free hand on the ground, struggling to stay on her feet. "You're pushing yourself too hard we need to cancel this exam."
"No!" The child gets back to her feet. "I'm adjusting I'll be fine!"
"Then warp to me." The child vanishes in a flash of blue but when she reappears she is laying flat on the floor. "See." The Ud Gevas gestures to the control room and the Aceda that changed the gravity shuts down his console. The child got to her feet and Diaveras could see as she and the Ud Gevas were talking. The Ud Gevas tried placing his hand on her shoulder but the child slaps his hand away and could be seen yelling something at him. "She's mad about something." The door in the other room opens and the child rushes out ahead of the Ud Gevas. "I have to go talk to her."

"I understand. I shall be in my room, adjusting and preparing for my meeting. I apologize, but may I please have an escort to my room? it is all still so new to me?"
