Colonization: Obras

A portal opened in space a few thousand miles from the planet the Aceda have designated: Obras. This planet was scanned to contain I high amount of streta in liquid form underneath the surface and the frigate that was now exiting the portal had a mission: colonize the planet for the Aceda. The frigate, Kildrak, held on board three hundred Aceda and much equipment to terra form Obras. This was going to be the first colony outside the cluster the Aceda normally live in. Colonization was to begin accelerating as of this planet due to a sudden decision from the Cerenca. Kildrak approached the planet and prepared to begin orbit around it.

Suddenly, A Strange Radio Signal Of indeterminable frequency Can Be Detected Coming From A Supposedly Barren Planet On The Outer Edge Of The System.

One of the Aceda on board took notice to the signal that had appeared on the sensors. She saw no other signals appearing and so left her station and moved up to the captain's position. "Sir I have seen no signals except for one, I cannot identify it as any known frequency used by other species." The captain looked at the Aceda. "Do you think it something we should give our attention to?"
"I believe so sir, it may affect the mission if something is watching our colonization of the planet. We may want to send for a ship to perform reconnaissance on this signal."
"That could take much time that we do not have. We shall land all mission critical equipment on Obras then send a small team of our own to investigate."
"Understood sir." Within hours the Kildrak had landed most of its equipment and personnel on the planet's surface. The remainder was left on the Kildrak which sent a message back to Lorinlora to provide new ship to support the colonists while the Kildrak itself went to investigate the unusual signal.

As One Comes Closer To The Planet One Sees A Strange looking Ship, Orbiting Close To Its Atmosphere. Meanwhile, Tiny Ships or Drones can be seen constantly being exchanged between the strange ship and the planet surface itself. As The Aceda Ship Nears. Another Ship, larger Far than the "Drones", Is Seen Exiting The Ship. Obviously heavily armed, this new Ship Simply Sits In Its Place Close To The Larger One. Finally A last, smaller ship has exited the large mysterious vessel and is steadily coming closer to the Aceda Reconnaissance Ship in the area.

The Kildrak saw as a ship began approaching it. The Kildrak slowed and let the two ships approach each other.
"Should we try to establish contact with the other ship?" The acting captain looked at her officer. "Let them attempt to first. That is polite back home after all, since we are technically guests to a system they may have been in for quite a long time."
"Understood mam." The Kildrak awaited any sign of communication from the other ship.

As The Sip Approaches, A large Tube launches out of the ship and snags onto the other.acting as a sort of suction device for stabilization, the ship rests neatly next to the Aceda Ship. several creatures in baggy, Full Body cloths (obviously A Space suit of some kind) appear to exit The Craft. waiting for a response.

The Kildrak shakes as the tube connects to the ship. "They've stabilized their position next to us. Shall we contact them?" The captain nods and some of the crew leaves. The Aceda that have left dress in pressure suits to protect themselves from the dangerous lack of pressure in space. They all create points of gravity that hold them and leave the Kildrak to make contact with the lifeforms outside the ship.

Once The Two Crews Meet Each other, One Of The Three Members Of the alien's Point To An Opening in the ship and all three of them proceed down it. After a few seconds One of the strange creatures peeks out and stairs back at the Aceda, waiting.

The three Aceda move themselves into the other ship with the lifeforms and watch as the opening closes behind them.
On the Kildrak the captain sees as the crew she sent enters the other ship. She opens a channel to one of the crew on the ship. "This is captain Lumea to the representative team. Status?"
One of the Aceda on the ship receives the message and gives his answer. "This is team leader, Kondi, reporting. Everything seems fine right now."
"Understood report in as soon as there is a new development." The channel was closed and the representative team looked at the other lifeforms.

One Of The Creatures Turns Toward A Hallway And Shouts "Garen Shillen Gregar Aneying!". One Of The Crew members lead its guest toward a room further down the hall. There A Monitor Of The Outside can be seen. Though this monitor it now becomes clear that the ship is moving towards its mothership!

The team leader of the Aceda opened the channel again. "Mam. The larger ship is not as far and it is getting nearer to us."
"We have been doing scans continuously and we noticed already. We worry what they plan for us. However an encounter with that ship would be foolish we take whatever action may be necessary when we are inside the other ship."

A Soft Rumble has indicated that the "Mothership" has Docked Within The Ship. Three more Of The Creatures appear, Two in armor and carrying strange weapons And another dressed beautify . the one in beautiful clothing seams to make a Motion To Follow and Moves forward out of the ship. The Two "Guards" Stand Behind The Aceda Crew. Outside the ship appears to be a large hanger. with many ships just like the one they'd exited from with many more of the creatures dress in bulky cloths with breathing Masks Covering there faces. They Are lead into a hallway at the corner Of The hanger.

The well dressed being gestures to them to follow. The team of Aceda begin to follow them through a hallway unsure of what these beings intended to do but were feeling so sense of threat.
The Kildrak crew was calm and under the impression that there was naught to worry of from the other species. The captain eased into her chair as she looked out to the white dotted view outside the ship. For a second she believed she had seen a flicker from one of the stars but shrugged it off thinking it was a simple CME distorting the light.
With stealth systems active a ship watches the many vessels in the distance interacting. The creature on board that acted as captain gave a smile. "This is what we were bred for. Aceda are right in front of us and are meeting with that species they call Mimorvadon, I believe." Another creature among the crew spoke up.
"We also detect Aceda on the surface of the nearby planet. We believe them to be in use of equipment for constructing buildings."
"Colonists. This will be interesting but far too easy, colonists cease military training after it is not required and offer no strength to fight us with. Still we do not leave them. The colonists on that planet are our first target." The hidden ship makes its course towards the planet of Obras, its path taking them by the Aceda ship. The path was plotted on purpose this way so as to declare to themselves that they are superior to the Aceda.

Unknown of the evil lurking nearby, The Creatures Continue to Lead The Visiting Crew Though The Halls. A crewman Rushes from around the far corner of the hall and speaks more of the strange, alien language To his brother leading the unknown species. The Leader Answers back and the crewmen runs back from where he came. Eventually they enter a door to their right in the middle of the large hallway. In the room, nothing but a Round chair just large enough for one of the Aceda appears to be seen. Without Warning, the Beautiful creature grabs the Aceda who was communicating to the captain of his own ship and And begins to pulls him towards the Empty chair, The Aceda Not Resisting for fear of putting his crew at risk of hostilities. Without force, The Aceda Takes A Seat in the Mysterious chair and for a for a few minuets nothing happens but a faint buzzing sound from above him. Suddenly and Quickly, a Cylinder descended upon the chair, Along With The Creature Occupying It! Vibrating rapidly, the sounds of the Acedas screams can be heard from the other-side.

The other Aceda, seeing and feeling the pain from the first, immediately took stances. One raised a high strength barrier around herself while the other, an Ud Gevas, used his hakra. The Ud Gevas became surrounded in a thick layer of plasma energy that shaped around his body, like a cloak. The two aceda prepared to repulse the creatures around them if they attacked.
The vessel continued to move towards the planet, Obras. The captain looked outside at the planet and started thinking of killing the colonists. Soon his expression became dull and empty at the thought of killing such weak prey. However the captain was soon surprised as he noticed a large portal appear in the distance. He watched it tantalized as he began thinking of what would come through. Shortly after appearing an Aceda frigate came through the portal, sent to support the colonists after consideration from The Core on Lorinlora. The captain smiled and became excited as he thought of the Aceda he could find on the frigate. He stood up and spoke to his entire crew. "Our target is changed! We now will attack not the colony but that frigate there!" A crewman turned to the captain with a questioning look.
"Sir that is not we were ordered to do. This may go against Him."
"I care not for the mission i care for the strength we display to the Aceda. Let them think whoever attacks them we must prove we are strong! I still have Resderay's intentions in my mind and I want to show him there is more that we can do for him. We attack the frigate!" The crewman returned to their stations an the ship turned towards the Aceda frigate. They awaited for the frigate to reach a close distance from which they would fire at them.

The Two Guards That accompanied the group become startled by the show of strength The Aceda Display, one fallen back from shock. Quickly, Both throw up their weapons, ready to defend themselves if required. The Two groups stare each other down, weapons ready to strike, waiting for the other to make the first shot. the third creature continues to speak to its guards in a soft tone. the Horrid sound of the Aceda's painful scream continuing though all. after nearly five minuets of this, all sound Ceases. The Cylinder lifts and the Aceda falls out, Showing No Movement upon hitting the floor.......

One of the Aceda, hearing her friend hitting the floor, turned around and ran to his side. She kept her barrier up but was now focused on the motionless Aceda on the ground. The Ud Gevas scanned the thought patterns of the other creatures. He was unfamiliar with their patterns but was starting to determine what pattern signified which intentions by comparing each individual creatures thought pattern to what their body language was showing him. He decided they were anxious and weren't planning on attacking without cause. He kept his Hakra up but lowered his hands to show that he was not attempting to start a fight. He walked over to his companion on the ground and the Gevas next to him. He spoke to her in their own language "They are defending themselves, I am not sure what they did to captain Lumea but they are not trying to harm us, I believe. Is he showing any life signs?"
"Yes, he is simply unconscious. I can't see any differences so I don't know what they did." The Gevas looked at his who showed no signs of waking up.
"I don't know what this species is trying to do but right now we have to protect him. I'm not expecting them to talk to us soon but we need to get back to the Kildrak, hopefully without attacking them."

The Aceda frigate was now a short distance from the hidden ship, still unaware of its presence. The captain on the hidden ship stood up. "Now is the perfect time. Launch our first greeting to the Aceda!" The hidden ship, still remaining hidden, launched a large shot of plasma at the frigate. The frigate's shielding reduced some of the damage but the crew was taken by surprise, immediately they had the weapons up and started up other sensory eqiupment to find the origin of the attack. The other ship followed the frigate that was now accelerating and took another shot at a spot just in front of the frigate. The crew on the frigate noticed the shot and slowed to the point where the shot passed in front of them, the shielding pushing the shot off its normal path. The frigate's weapons aimed at the area where all the shots were originating and started to fire. The other ship was already moving away from the last position it fired from, this put it out of the way of the frigates fire.

"Be Calm, Aceda. Your captain is fine and should be conscious within a few hours." The Beautiful One Spoke speaking with A Calm masculine Voice, and in the Aceda's own language. "We Have Had His Mind Scanned. It Was Done as to learn to speak And Hear your Own language. I Am Captain Tonlie'gree Of The Ship "Light In Darkness". I Wish to speak to you as a representative For the Gree'Gar'On Empire. And For The Entirety of the Mimorvadon Species As A Whole".

The Ud Gevas looked at the representative, Tonlie'gree. His plasma cloak dispersed and he stood up on his feet as he looked at the creature. "I apologize for response. I am Lomin Liya, an Ud Gevas of the Aceda species. I have the authority as an Ud Gevas to speak on behalf of the Aceda. We see why you needed to do what you did with our captain and apologize for over reacting. We Aceda are all a very close family and our greatly protective of each other, you see." Lomin was interrupted with a messge from the Kildrak.
"Lomin this is Omesk of the Kildrak! We can't contact your captain and a situation has developed." Lomin asked the Mimorvadons to wait as he responds to the urgent message.
"What's happening Omesk?"
"A was sent to provide support was suddenly attacked by an unknown ship from close range. The attack was sudden and the enemies were able to inflict severe damage upon the frigate shortly after engaging them. They need support but we are held by the other ship."
"Do not worry we're able to communicate with them, now. They call themselves Mimorvadons and I will see if they will release you." The Ud Gevas turned to the representative, he had spoken aloud for him to hear and was waiting for a response from Tonlie'gree.

Tonlie'gree understood this que. "I must apologize, but our species just met! In-fact, you are the fist Alien species the That the Mimorvadon have ever had in pleasure to come in contact. Even Though I wish to, we do not know if you will pursue hostilities after our aid. we Also have little firepower to offer being an exploration ship. The larger ship you saw leaving dock is our only ship with offensive capabilities. and the nearest colony with any military assets is at least a two month journey away, with a four month round trip. even if we wish to help, we have little to offer." The Captain paused for a moment, pondering. "I must Ask. do you have in this system a colony of your governments, Your Home Planet, or are you by chance another exploration team?"

"We are an exploration team, though to be accurate we were a colonization team. We are still expanding into the universe and a nearby planet was chosen for colonization. We, on our home world which is far on from here yet within this cluster of star systems, call the planet Obras and have found it to meet the requirements for sustaining ourselves. We have little in the category of offensive weapons on our ship but that frigate needs only to be able to know where our enemy is. I theorize they are using a stealth system to cloak themselves from us, even visually. But perhaps we can estimate its flight path by watching the pattern of its shots. If you can assist in this that would be all we would need. Our ships are all designed to endure and persist. We have time but I wish not to waste it. Oh and I apologize that I cannot properly greet you as the first species to meet with yours but I suppose you should be able to understand why. When the threat is removed we may continue further with this. And about the possibility of us pursuing hostilities. You saw the stances me and my companion took when we thought our captain harmed. Those stances were defensive and in our culture were signifying that we did not wish to cause harm unless we were first harmed. This is one way in which all Aceda conduct any actions that bring us to interact with other species, as we were taught by our Cerenca. If you do not harm us we do not harm you and extend our hand to you in the hopes that we can assist each other as coexisting beings born in the same universe."

"I'm sorry, but words may stale. if you truly wish to extend your hand than give us the galactic position of your home system and planet. if you allow us such information we will provide all support we have available in deterring this threat. I understand It may seem unfair to demand anything in a crisis such as this. but, we have our reasons. I only ask you answer them truthfully."

"I understand this will go against your reasons but I can't. Only our Cerenca, Diaveras has that authority and if we don't save that frigate chances of our species meeting to discuss these things will dwindle. Please help us." The Aceda's expression is that of fear and worry.

"than One Last Request....contact Diaveras, After the Battle Of Course, And Have Him Send Us The Position. if you deny us this Much, our support will be withheld. I'm sorry, but I cannot Explain to you the reasoning behind this."

the Aceda's expression changed. "I can promise you that we can get your request to him. I swear on him, our father who has done everythng he can for us and deserves the best from all us aceda." The Ud Gevas contacted his captain. "captain we have their support, your older brother is an overlord isn't he? We'll his help, we need to talk to the Cerenca after we save that frigate."
"Understood and yes he is an overlord. The frigate has identified itself as the Ominera and by now will need the most immediate assistance it can get."
"Don't worry they won't have to shoot blind for much longer."
